Upon arrival to Belgrade Airport, you will be welcomed and assisted. Then you’ll embark on a sightseeing bus tour of Belgrade. At the Serbian capital located at the confluence of Sava and Danube rivers, you’ll witness beauty firsthand while visiting the largest Orthodox Church in the Balkans – St. Sava Temple –, the National Assembly, the City Hall, Republic Square, Knez Mihailova pedestrian street and the magnificent Belgrade Fortress where you can also have an optional lunch at the city center and then be transferred to your hotel for check-in then enjoy a lovely dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

After Breakfast, you will head towards the Vojvodina region. Our first stop is Sremski Karlovci, a small historical town known for its baroque architecture and wine production. The most important building in Sremski Karlovci is the Chapel of Peace that commemorates the signing of the Treaty of Karlowitz that brought peace between the Turks and the Austrians. Then you’ll be visiting a Wine cellar with wine tasting included. The tour will continue toward the city of Novi Sad and Petrovaradin fortress – second largest fortress in Europe. Lunch will be held at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you’ll have the rest of your day dedicated to your free Panoramic and walking tour of Novi Sad (Freedom Square, National Theater, Danube Street, etc.) before returning to Belgrade.

Leaving Belgrade after breakfast at the hotel, you’ll go to Avala mountain and visit of the famous Avala Tower standing at 204 meters tall. The tower was originally finished in 1965 to be destroyed in 1999 during the NATO bombing of Serbia, and rebuilt again and inaugurated in 2006. Your tour continues to the Museum and monumental tomb of the founder of The Socialistic Federative Republic of Yugoslavia – Marshal Tito. Then, you’ll be visiting the new part of the city known as New Belgrade. You’ll have Lunch at a local restaurant, and then take on a Walking tour of Zemun (Austro-Hungarian era mansions, bazaars, Pub street, old Theatre and Zemun park) wrapping up the third day, you’ll return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Belgrade.

After having Breakfast at the hotel in Belgrade, you’ll Check-out and take a beautiful drive to Nis. First you’ll be passing by Manasija Monastery founded in the 15th century by Serbian Despot Stefan Lazarevic considered one of the most important cultural heritages of Serbia ever built during the Middle Ages. Then you’ll have lunch at a traditional restaurant. After lunch, you will pass through the beautiful valleys and picturesque landscapes and reach Serbia’s largest cave system, the ancient Resavska cave. Your tour ends in Nis, Serbia’s third largest city where you’ll have your dinner and stay overnight at the city.

At Nis, you’ll enjoy a panoramic walking tour of all its major attractions after having breakfast. The city’s importance lies in it being the most important economic and cultural center of southeast Serbia while being at the same time, the hometown of Roman Emperor, Constantine the Great. During the tour, you will visit Nis Fortress, the Scull Tower and the Mediana Archaeological site. Later, you’ll have lunch in the city center and have a Free time to visit the busy downtown. You can also enjoy shopping or sit in a local cafe to enjoy a good cup of Turkish coffee. Wrapping up the fifth day, you’ll have dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Nis.

After having breakfast, you’ll be driven to the very heart of Serbia towards the beautiful and mountainous landscapes of Sumadija. Then you will visit the Church of St. George also known as Oplenac. Decorated entirely with spectacular mosaics and replicas of most beautiful frescoes of the medieval Serbian art, It is the resting place of the Serbian and Yugoslav royal house of Karađorđević located on top of in the town of Topola. Our morning will be concluded by a visit to the Royal wine cellar to enjoy wine tasting. You’ll be having lunch at a local restaurant then have a short break and drive back to Belgrade for check-in and some free time. Finally, after the day ends, you will stay overnight in Belgrade.

The seventh day will be dedicated to you where the Tour guide will be at your disposal and will lead you to the major shopping locations in Belgrade. You will have enough time to buy local products, souvenirs, and gifts such as honey-related products, wine, rugs, exquisite ceramic tableware, home-made foods and many more. You will also have some free time on your hands. An early farewell dinner is awaiting you on Skadarlija street, in the old town part of the city known as the bohemian quarter – famous for delicious food, fun, live music and its best atmosphere.
